Areas of Practice
Iris spent the first few years of her career primarily acting for banks in hire-purchase, bankruptcy, loan recovery and forfeiture of property cases in addition to representing multiple major national insurers in personal injury claims. She also handled landlord-tenant disputes and assisted her clients to recover possession of their property. These experiences have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of banking, insurance, tenancy and personal injury law.
Presently, Iris has diversified her portfolio while continuing to be active in banking and insurance law. In addition to these, her current areas of practice include a broad range of civil litigation (including debt recovery, execution of judgments and trademark infringement) and conveyancing (including the sale and purchase of ships) as well as corporate matters such as due diligence.
Interests
Iris enjoys classic and modern literature as well as collecting and reading books. In addition, she also spends her spare time jogging, hiking and playing tennis.
