Qualifications
Hannah graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from University of London with a Second Class (Upper Division) in 2021. She subsequently obtained a Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board (LPQB) Malaysia as well as a Professional Diploma in International Arbitration from the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb) in 2023. Shortly after, she commenced her pupillage in Shelley Yap and was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court in Sabah and Sarawak in 2025. Hannah is presently a legal assistant with the firm.
Areas of Practice
Since pupillage, Hannah has been involved in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, particularly insurance law (in terms of personal injury claims) and debt recovery matters. In addition, she has also drafted agreements and Wills. As she begins her career as a lawyer, she continues to be involved in the same, and will endeavour to expand her legal knowledge and experience in more civil litigation and conveyancing matters.
Interests
To unwind, Hannah enjoys crocheting, be it amigurumis (crocheted stuffed toys) or other functional items, often while watching Japanese animated shows.
